Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Gohigher service ("Service"), provided by Gohigher ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, installing the Gohigher Shopify app, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Gohigher provides automated revenue-optimization audits for Shopify merchants. The Service analyzes a merchant's store and produces ranked findings and recommendations, with estimated dollar-impact. The Service may add additional integrations and features over time. Findings and recommendations are informational; you remain responsible for any change applied to your store.
2. Account & Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to enter into agreements on behalf of any merchant whose store you connect to the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for keeping your credentials secure.
3. Subscription, Billing, and Cancellation
The Service is billed monthly via Polar. Pricing tiers are determined by your store's monthly GMV as detected by the Service. Subscription fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable except as required by law. You may cancel at any time; access continues through the end of the current billing period.
The Gohigher Shopify app uses external billing on gohigher.ai (Polar Subscriptions) under an external billing exception. You will not be charged through the Shopify Billing API by Gohigher.
4. Use of Shopify Data
By installing the Gohigher Shopify app and granting the requested API scopes, you authorize us to access the data described in our Privacy Policy and to use it to generate findings, recommendations, and dollar-impact estimates for your account. We will not sell or share your store data with third parties for marketing.
5. Data Deletion
You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting privacy@gohigher.ai. Upon Shopify-issued shop/redact (sent 48 hours after app uninstall) or upon explicit deletion request, we delete all of your data within 30 days, subject to limited backup retention required for security and continuity (which is itself purged on standard backup rotation).
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract our methodology, detector library, or model weights
- Process data of stores you do not own or for which you do not have explicit authorization
- Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or Shopify's Acceptable Use Policy
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including the audit detector library, finding synthesis logic, and recommendations engine, is owned by Gohigher. You retain ownership of all data sourced from your Shopify store. We retain a license to process that data for the duration of your subscription solely to provide the Service.
8. Disclaimers
The Service produces estimates and recommendations using benchmarks and signals collected from your store. We make no guarantee that any recommendation will produce the estimated dollar-impact, and we are not responsible for the outcomes of any change you apply to your store based on our findings.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or if continued provision of the Service would expose us to legal liability. We will give reasonable advance notice except in cases of urgent risk.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will provide notice of material changes via the Service or by email. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION TO BE FILLED IN BEFORE LAUNCH]. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of [JURISDICTION].
